The Property Administrator (PA) is responsible for property control program activities to ensure continual accountability of government, associate contractor, or company property in accordance with applicable government regulations or corporate policy in a warehouse environment. The PA maintains property accountability records and determines condition and arranges disposal of surplus or obsolete material or equipment. Contacts potential users and negotiates transfers. Conducts property audits; provides guidance on government regulations pertaining to property accountability; develops, recommends, and implements property administration policy; and prepares periodic and special purpose reports relative to such matters as taxes, rentals and leasing, insurance, facility usage, etc. Qualifications:Basic Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Business with 3 years of work experience. Eight years of work experience may be considered in lieu of degree. One year or more experience in a warehouse environment. Proficiency in PC applications, particularly MS Excel and Word. Must be able to perform physical activities, such as lift 35lbs and climb ladders Preferred Qualifications: Proficiency with SAP Experience with forklift and hand truck One year or more of experience in Property Management in a warehouse environment National Property Management Association (NPMA) Certification A working knowledge of FAR Government Property control clauses/requirements .
